The ABC's of Fire Safety:

  • Always follow fire safety rules.

  • Exits are a way out. Know 2 ways out of every room in your home.
  • Fire escape plans show you the exits from every room in your home. Make a fire escape plan with your family.
  • Get out fast in a fire. Once your out, stay out.
  • Have a family meeting place outside in case of a fire.
  • Inspect your home for fire hazards.
  • Join others in helping to prevent fires.
  • Keep away from things that are hot. They can burn you!
  • Learn how to call 911 to report a fire.
  • Matches are not toys, stay away from matches and lighters.
  • Never be afraid of firefighters of hide from them.
  • Obey all fire safety rules.
  • Pumper trucks pump water to put out fires. Keep safely away from them when they are in action.
