BSGFD dispatched for vacant apartment building on fire just after 10 p.m. on September 6, 2013.  After initial search of upstairs and downstairs apartments when report was given of possible people inside, defensive positions were taken up to protect exposure in near by buildings.  BSGFD wishes to thank all who came to assist and to Jasper and Appalachia Fire Departments who stood by in case of further emergencies.
